Information
A fruity gin based highball cocktail invented at Raffles Hotel in Singapore at the turn of the 20th Century. I have given the drink a classic feel, stripping away the modern tourist version that you may find in some bars. I use Colonel Fox London Dry Gin, Cherry Heering Liqueur, Benedictine, Merlet Trois Liqueur, house Grenadine, citrus and Angostura bitters.
This drink is made in less than 60 seconds. Pour 100ml into an ice filled tall glass, add a couple of dashes of chilled soda and stir. If you like the modern version and want it more fruity and sweet, then add 100ml of Pineapple juice to the blend. Garnish with a lemon slice and a cocktail cherry if you have one.
500ml | Makes 5-7 cocktails | 26.5% ABV

What I imagine the original to taste like
Lovely bottle. What's in it is pretty good too. Strong stuff when not diluted! As directed add ice, soda and stir.
Really well balanced and flavoursome.

Makes a lovely cocktail. Just had our first two on a sunny Sunday afternoon in the garden. Mixed with lemonade. Will try pineapple next time. Well worth the price and can make more than seven servings. Will buy again. Thanks for conjuring up the memory of Raffles Long Bar.
Loved it. Will definitely buy again!
