This 80's British libation was given a makeover by myself at my bar in 2015. It was so popular taht I had to batch the cocktails in bottles in order to serve them faster during service so we didn't get backed up! This cocktail is now made 'fresh to order' for your enjoyment in bottled form! Direct to your door!
I use specialist Brazillian Bourbon roast coffee from the Algerian Coffee Stores, London's oldest coffee house. The beans are so dark and oily, I literally have to push them into the grinder with my fingers otherwsie they fail to grind! I first infuse the English craft vodka with a course grind of their 50/50 speciality Bourbon roast beans before adding the rich espresso. To keep the integrity of the coffee I exchange a coffee liqueur for a rich Sicialian Amaro which complements the coffee and brings extra layers of flavour such as mountain herbs and dark chocolate. I then make a sea salted vanilla and tonka bean syrup which offers further body and balances the bitterness of the espresso and Amaro. The result is something spectacular.
At 24% abv it truly lends itself as a premium liqueur cocktail, but when shaken and diluted with ice it become a truly magnificent cocktail which is enjoyed after dinner, giving you a much needed pick me up!
This drink can be made in 30 seconds. Pour 100ml of cocktail into an ice filled shaker and shake it until your hands go cold and the shaker is frosted! Strain into your cocktail glass and garnish with 3 coffee beans atop of the crema.

Really high quality cocktail that wouldn't be out of place in a top London hotel bar. Went down a treat and I'll definitely be ordering some again
